An international medal parade was held in Camp Butmir where Greek, North Macedonian, Polish and Turkish members of EUFOR, in recognition of their service in the European Union Force in Bosnia and Herzegovina received the European Union’s Common Security and Defence Policy Medal for Operation Althea.
The medal is inscribed with the Latin phrase “Pro Pace Unum”, which translates to “United for peace” and symbolizes one of the core values and greatest strengths of EUFOR in supporting of the authorities and the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
